Description
On November 13 and 14, 2019, USAID SCHEP organized mosaic workshops for 280 attendees of a Ministry of Education camp for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides in Al Karameh, Balqa Governorate. Most of the participants were girls, and included 39 students with hearing and speech difficulties. The aim of the workshops was to teach the students about the history of mosaics in Jordan, while giving them the opportunity to make their own works of mosaic art. On Thursday, HRH Princess Basma bint Talal visited the camp and witnessed the workshop in action.
