Description
USAID SCHEP celebrated the graduation of 30 teachers from the Art of Mosaic Production Training Series on May 5, 2019. The graduation ceremony was held at the Madaba Institute of Mosaic Art and Restoration (MIMAR), and included a tour of the institute and the Madaba Archaeological Park. The teachers who participated in this training series learned about the history and theory of mosaic creation in Jordan, equipping them to pass this knowledge along to their students. The ceremony took place under the patronage of Mr. Hassan Alqayam, Governor of Madaba, who gave remarks alongside Dean Ahmad Al-Amaireh of MIMAR, Kail Pritchard of USAID Jordan, Dr. Barbara Porter of ACOR, and Nizar Al Adarbeh of SCHEP.
