On June 20, 2019, SCHEP participated in the EU-funded "Our Heritage Our identity” workshop in Jordan, attended by 44 representatives from both public and private sectors in Palestine. The aim of the workshop was to explain and promote the Micro to Small Enterprise (MSE) models of the Busayra Cultural Heritage Foundation and the Southern Ghawr Company. The group visited the archaeological site at Busayra and later attended a workshop where the founders of the SME delivered a brief about their professional path with SCHEP. Tourism Development Lead Hussein Khirfan gave a presentation about the SCHEP methodology and philosophy to enhance the local community's knowledge about preserving and benefiting from their cultural heritage.
