In July 2019, ACOR USAID SCHEP supported a week-long training in Local and Historical Awareness for Heritage Museum Planning in cooperation with the Madaba Regional Archaeological Museum Project (MRAMP) and the Madaba Institute of Mosaic Art and Restoration (MIMAR). The training, led by Valeria Gaspari of Studio Strati in Rome, Italy, introduced 16 participants to concepts and best practices for planning a museum as a space for social engagement, education, and economic development, as well as the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage.
